The 48-year-old actress, who has been enjoying some family time in the city, donned a light brown suit and beige top that perfectly complemented her warm complexion. She completed her look with neutral toned pumps and opted for a natural makeup look with a soft peach lip. Her shoulder length hair was styled straight with a slightly off-center part. Accompanied by her daughter Vivienne, who looked relaxed in beige pants and a plum-toned T-shirt paired with sneakers, Angelina looked effortlessly chic.

Vivienne has recently developed a passion for theater and has teamed up with her mother to bring the stage adaptation of SE Hinton’s novel, The Outsiders, to Broadway. Angelina Jolie shares Vivienne with her ex-husband Brad Pitt, along with their other children Knox, Shiloh, Zahara, Pax, and Maddox. The mother-daughter duo has even met with the author to ensure that they stay true to the original work. To help bring their vision to life, they have enlisted the help of director Danya Taymor, who happens to be the niece of Tony winner and Oscar nominee Julie Taymor, famous for bringing The Lion King musical to the stage. Recently, Angelina was spotted in New York City with Vivienne, working hard to make their dreams a reality.

It was exciting because my interest in theater has grown recently, and I’ve been assisting my mom in producing a stage version of SE Hinton’s beloved novel, The Outsiders. You might recognize the story from the 1983 movie directed by Frances Ford Coppola, which catapulted stars like Tom Cruise, Matt Dillon, and Diane Lane to fame. Our production is a musical adaptation that premiered at the La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego this past February.

Vivienne is known for her serious and thoughtful approach towards theatre and is dedicated to understanding how to make valuable contributions. As they left the meeting, both mother and daughter shared a smile before making their way towards the car while remaining close to each other.
