Despite this, the 37-year-old singer has showered her partner with praise, emphasizing that even though she has written many songs for him over the years, she never feels like it’s adequate. In an interview with The Sun, she expressed, “I’ve written many love songs for Gerard. But it’s never enough. I feel that he deserves a million love songs written for him.”

The couple, along with their son Milan, have been living in Barcelona since January 2013 due to Gerard’s soccer career. She is currently figuring out how to manage her upcoming tour while living in Barcelona.

Shakira put on a burlesque-like performance that could rival the Pussycat Dolls as she danced across the stage with grace. Despite enjoying her time on stage, she confessed, “I miss him when I’m away and the baby is so small. I sometimes feel guilty.”
While speaking about her partner Gerard, she shared that she has learned a great deal from him about selflessness and the importance of teamwork. Unlike herself, he always considers how his actions will impact his team. She humorously added, “That’s very different from megalomaniac artists!”
As someone who has always been independent and never had to answer to anyone, Shakira appreciated the valuable lessons Gerard has taught her about being a team player.
