Jennifer Lopez’s recent vacation to Turks and Caicos left fans around the world aghast, as she showed off her incredibly age-defying figure in all its glory.
With her unbelievably toned frame, flawless complexion and famously peachy bottom looking as fabulous as ever, the Jenny From The Block songstress proved she is far defying her 51 years.
The secrets to her sensational looks come from a host of sources – including the assistance of NYC trainer David Kirsch and LA’s trainer to the stars Tracy Anderson, a strict diet of roughly 1400 calories a day, vegan detoxes, strictly no caffeine or alcohol, gallons of water and avoidance of the sun.
The quinquagenarian shares twins Max and Emme, 12, with her ex Marc Anthony and is engaged to Alex Rodriguez and has spoken in the past about how she works her life around staying in shape.

‘We do a lot of circuit training and a lot of compound movements, like crossover lunges and single-leg squats. We do a lot of burpees. We also do a little bit of kickboxing.’
He revealed that her favorite ab exercises involve using a stability ball, saying: ‘For her abs and core, we do stability-ball pikes’, and added that she also does stability-ball scissors.

DIET
‘By lunchtime, I’m starving’
Jennifer does not just devote herself to the gym, but also sticks by the adage that ‘abs are made in the kitchen’.
A number of insights into her diet have shown just how hard she works and Jennifer even admitted she is ‘left starving’ by lunchtime.
Trainer to the stars Tracy Anderson gave details on her diet on her website in 2018: ‘I have her eating very clean because she needs really good fuel for all the things that she’s doing…
‘It’s all organic and it’s all very well thought out, with the balance of very high-quality proteins and a lot of nutrient-dense food… everything is fresh.’
So what does J.Lo eat in a day?
Breakfast
Speaking to US Weekly in 2016, she revealed her breakfast comprises a 90-calorie chocolate Body Lab Shake, revealing: ‘I do it with quinoa milk or water’, and admitted caffeine is a strict no go: ‘I haven’t had caffeine in years.’
Lunch
She admitted that due to a small breakfast, she is left hungry later in the day, saying: ‘By lunchtime, I’m starving’.

He revealed they ate healthy salads during the detox, while continuing to enjoy the meals in their usual diets.

Veganism helped Jennifer lose her baby weight, as she told Extra in 2014: ‘I’ll be honest with you guys, since I had the babies about six years ago, I had that really stubborn eight to ten pounds on me.’
Dinner
In a food diary recorded for People, Jennifer revealed her dinner will consist of: ‘1 boneless, skinless grilled chicken breast with: 1/2 cup sautéed brussels sprouts, 1/2 cup baked yams with sea salt’.
Dietitian Keri Glassman spoke to the publication about her food, saying: ‘Her chicken dinner is an excellent whole food meal…
‘But she could use a little more fat—a little grass-fed butter on the yams would taste great. A cookie as an indulgence is definitely okay for a hot mama like J.Lo!’
Veganism
Her trainer Dodd Romero revealed that since then, she has since added chicken breast, grass-fed beef, salmon and sea bass to add to her protein intake and keep her fuller for longer.

‘Without eight hours sleep, I feel crazy’
Jennifer previously described sleep as her ‘weapon’ in her fight against ageing.
Speaking about how sleep keeps her young, she said: ‘I love a good nine or 10 hours, but I can never get that. So seven or eight is mandatory. [If I don’t get it] I just don’t feel right. I start feeling crazy, I get emotional and I feel tired all the time.’
As well as the amount of sleep, Jennifer also boldly stated that it is a must to remove make-up before bed.

She has previously detailed how she avoids ‘wrecking her skin’ and pays special attention to her routine to keep herself looking as young and fresh as possible.
On her post-workout skicare regime, she said: ‘I always, always wash my face after a workout. That helps keep my pores clean and my skin feeling healthy.
